The virtual train “Deutschland-Express” was on the road for six weeks – in the form of an online festival. The focus of the program was not along a rail route, but drew lines of connection between the two countries in terms of content to enable a profitable exchange between people. Topics included language, culture, sustainability, education, business and science. Access to the digital program was via cell phone, pad or laptop. The team compiled the most interesting digital formats that accelerated digitization produced during the Coronavisus pandemic: Exhibitions in a 3-D environment, concerts by avatars, a ZOOM piano session, Insta-cooking shows, 360-degree videos, online workshops and much more.
The festival took place as part of the Year of Germany in Russia and was developed in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut.More info at: Goethe-Institut
